I Am Abel Law (“IAAL”), a non-profit organization formed in 2020, will hold its Sixth Annual Chicago Law, Health and Medical Career Citywide Conference, alongside I Am Abel Foundation, on Friday, May 17, 2024 - Saturday May 18, 2024, at Rush Medical Center. At the conclusion of the Boot Camp, students and sponsors of the conference are invited to attend a networking reception at Rush Medical Center immediately following the conference.

 Because the scales of justice are not always balanced in health, law and within the community, I Am Abel Foundation and IAAL have teamed up for this year's student conference to create two highly impactful and independent tracks in both Medicine and Law. We are expecting over 600 attendees from all over Chicago with most of our students from populations underrepresented in both medicine and law.

 The purpose of IAAL and this conference is to provide unprecedented opportunities for pre-law and pre-med college and high school students as well as graduate level law and medical students, adult learners and beyond! Until now, there had not been a citywide conference focused on pre-law, law and medicine to this degree in Chicago. Our Conference presents a unique opportunity to expose underrepresented minorities to and increase their numbers within the legal profession.

 The conference’s speakers include big law associates, counsels and global partners, law school deans, high ranking governmental attorneys and in-house counsel.
